Ultrasound/Sonography is a non-invasive, low-cost option for imaging soft tissue without the use of radiation. Most people are familiar with sonography during pregnancy; however, we also use this imaging method for the evaluation and management of an array of gynecological disorders.
We offer state-of-the-art 3D and 4D sonography to our obstetric patients. This form of ultrasound allows us to capture a more realistic image of the physical characteristics of a developing infant. The 3D/4D sonogram is best performed between 28 and 30 weeks gestation.
